Today, the British Columbia Real Estate Association (BCREA) released that the Commercial Leading Indicator (CLI) held steady in the third quarter, down merely 0.1 points to 112.5.

Excerpt from the BCREA report:  

This follows several consecutive quarters of strong increases and the index is 3 per cent higher than in the third quarter of 2011.

Rapid transit 'a priority,' but it all comes down to funding: TransLink

The City of Vancouver laid out its case this week for a $2.8-billion rapid-transit line that would run underground along the Broadway corridor, arguing that despite the hefty price tag, a subway is more efficient and less disruptive than streetcar service.
